UK fund manager plans to transfer assets as part of its Brexit preparations, following a similar move by Columbia Threadneedle

M&G latest to shift fund assets to Luxembourg

M&G Investments plans to shift £34bn of assets from UK-domiciled funds to equivalent structures in Luxembourg as part of its Brexit planning – becoming the second fund manager in a week to announce the movement of client money to the Grand Duchy.

The transfer of assets will affect the euro, Swiss franc, US dollar and Singapore dollar share classes of 21 UK-based M&G funds, including its flagship £20bn Optimal Income fund.
