Capco, the Antwerp-based services and technology solutions provider, has entered into an alliance with Microsoft to provide a straight-through processing (STP) solution, which will automate the entire trading chain, on Microsoft's .NET Web services development platform.

Capco's STP Bridge will use the Microsoft BizTalk Server on .NET to create a common platform for processing transactions. The solution will enable both internal systems and external services to communicate with each other. For example, connectivity will be possible with the transaction matching utilities of the Thomson Financial and Depository Trust Co joint venture Omgeo and GSTP, the company running the industry utility set up by the Global Straight Through Processing Association.
