South Korea-backed deal is latest high-profile Asian acquisition in UK commercial property market

The UK headquarters of technology giant Microsoft, a near-250,000 square foot campus in Reading, has changed hands in a £100m deal backed by a consortium of South Korean investors.

The Valesco Group, a London-based investment manager backed with capital from the Middle East and Asia, has teamed up with South Korean asset manager AIP to buy the three-building campus, which was developed by Microsoft at Thames Valley Park.
