JP Morgan has hired John Minderides, managing director of portfolio trading and research at Investment Technology Group, as head of its transition management business in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.

The former Barclays Global Investors veteran joined ITG Europe, the technology group that operates the Posit crossing network and Portrait portfolio trading business, four years ago. He joined to build the company's research and programme trading divisions.
