Mizuho, the Japanese bank, has hired a number of sales and trading leaders under the new head of its markets business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Among the most senior is Roy Martins, a former Bank of America Merrill Lynch managing director, who has been made head of institutional sales and client relationship management in Emea.
