Mizuho has hired a UK investment banking veteran to join its board as the Japanese bank looks to expand its dealmaking team globally.
Tim Waddell, who has spent decades at large investment banks including Bank of America and UBS, joined the Japanese bank earlier this month as non-executive director for its London-based investment bank, a spokesperson confirmed to Financial News.
