Mizuho International, the Japanese investment bank, has made three hires in its fixed income division. Graham Halliday has been appointed as a managing director and head of fixed income trading reporting. He has been at Mizuho for fifteen years. Renato Giust has been named director of European government trading. He was previously head of European government bond trading at State Street Global Markets. Sam Morton has joined as a director of credit research. He covers the telecoms, media and technology sectors and was most recently at Barclays Capital, where he was a credit analyst.
