Andrew Welch has left Merrill Lynch Investment Managers where he was a senior client relationship manager and liability-driven investment specialist. He joins Insight Investment today as head of the institutional client team and will work with former boss Sarah Aitken.

Aitken, Insight's head of institutional business, was formerly head of institutional relationship management at MLIM. She joined Insight last September.
