Francis Brooke, a former director and fund manager at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, has resurfaced at Troy Asset Management, the investment boutique set up in 2000 by Lord Weinstock.

Brooke left MLIM earlier this year, where he had been a director responsible for managing £1.5bn (€2.23bn) of UK equities for large institutional clients. He was also a member of MLIM's asset allocation committee and UK sector strategy group.
