MMS International, the London-based provider of independent data for the sovereign bond, credit, foreign exchange and emerging markets, has hired James Hockley as global head of sales.

Hockley has 15 years' experience in the financial markets industry and was previously at Bank of New York, where he was most recently head of European client service delivery. Before that, he spent a year as head of investment manager relationships in Europe, which involved leading a team of 18 relationship managers covering around 100 of the bank's client relationships.
