Investment giants are looking for buying opportunities in emerging markets

Leading fund managers believe the spread of a deadly coronavirus in China will prove to be only a short-term jolt to global stocks and are looking for buying opportunities in emerging markets.

On Thursday, the World Health Organisation declared the outbreak of the Sars-like virus to be a public health emergency of international concern, following a week of heavy contingency planning by global governments and institutions.
