Moelis & Co, the recently-listed independent advisory house, has deepened its foray into Germany and the surrounding area with the hire of a head of mergers and acquisitions for the region.

The independent investment bank announced this morning that Jan Caspar Hoffmann would join as head of M&A for German-speaking Europe in the firm's Frankfurt office in February.
