Independent advisory firm Moelis has added a new managing director its London ranks, hiring an investment banker who learned the ropes at Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan to advise clients in the consumer industry.

The firm, set up 10 years ago by one-time UBS investment bank head Ken Moelis, said Marco Acaia had joined the London team as an MD providing financial and strategic advice to consumer clients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as further afield.
