Moelis & Co, the aggressively expanding independent advisory firm, has hired a senior investment banker from rival JPMorgan for its fledgling equity capital markets team in London.

Chris Roberts, who was most recently head of ECM execution for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at JPMorgan, will join the independent investment bank as a managing director.
