Moneyline drops Cantor service

Lee Amaitis, president of Cantor Fitzgerald International, the US Treasury broker, said last week that he hopes the loss of more than 700 staff in the attacks on the World Trade Center in September did not influence Moneyline Telerate's decision to drop his firm as its price feed provider.

Amaitis said: 'If there is a perception that Cantor in some way does not have the same market share that it did before September 11, then that would be wrong. The cost in human terms has been a disaster. But we continue to dominate the market.'
