Monte Titoli and Cassa di Compensazione e Garanzia, the central counterparty for Italian derivatives, has confirmed its merger will be completed by September this year.

Borsa Italiana, MTS, e-Mid and Monte Titoli, in accordance with the intermediaries represented by the Italian Bankers Association (ABI) and with Compensazione e Garanzia, have signed an agreement to conclude the merger between Monte Titoli and Cassa di Compensazione e Garanzia.
