Monument Group, a private equity placement agent, has hired Martin Anthonsen as director of its new London affiliate, which aims to boost the company's European coverage.

Anthonsen, formerly a senior member of the investment teams at Nordic Alternative Investment Advisors and financial group Länsförsäkringar, has joined Monument with nine years experience of global alternative investment and portfolio management.
