Monument Securities, an independent financial services company has hired Grant Cullens to launch a hedge fund investing in pan-European equities.

Cullens joins from Pictet & Cie, the Swiss private bank, where he ran a number of funds with a combined value of over $500m (€500.1m). Before that he was the head of UK retail funds at Lloyds TSB with responsibility for some $5bn of investment funds.
