John Hall, partner at Nexus Capital, a Bermuda-based hedge fund, is joining Moore Capital Management's European operation as chief market strategist.

Hall will report to Louis Bacon, founder of one of the largest remaining macro hedge funds, in this newly created position. The New York-based hedge fund, founded in 1989, has some $9bn (€9.8bn) under management.
