Up to 130,000 companies across the world are set to use new sustainability standards developed by the International Sustainability Standards Board, according to one of the world's most senior regulators.

Jean-Paul Servais, chair of the International Organization of Securities Commissions, the global standard-setter for regulators, said it was endorsing rules published in June for sustainability-related disclosures across both trading and capital raising.
