Over half of Black professionals in financial services believe their race is holding back in their career and more than 70% say they have experienced discrimination in the workplace, despite the increased focus on attracting more Black talent to the sector.

A sweeping survey of 800 employees at 440 financial services organisations by diversity group Reboot, also revealed that nearly half of Black employees believe that the culture of their employer has made it harder for them to progress in their careers.
