Treasury Committee chair Nicky Morgan says it is “disappointing” that the government has refused to speed up the review of gender pay gap reporting in the UK, despite numerous problems with the system.

In their official response to June’s Women in Finance Report — published on September 13 — Treasury minister John Glen and women’s minister Victoria Atkins said they would review the current rules for reporting firms’ pay gaps in five years, but no sooner.
