Morgan Stanley bolsters regulatory arm

The US bank adds a former Citi executive to its market structure team to help cope with the wave of post-crisis regulation

Morgan Stanley has hired a former Citigroup executive to bolster its team which oversees European regulatory developments in a sign of the growing impact of new rules introduced in the wake of the financial crisis.

The US bank has appointed Aileen Daly as an executive director in its European market structure team, Financial News has learnt. Daly will be London-based and will report to Eleanor Jenkins, an executive director and head of EU market structure at Morgan Stanley.
