Morgan Stanley has decided to stay put at its Canary Wharf office, around three years after kicking off a search for a new UK headquarters, in a boost to the financial district, which has lost a number of high-profile players in recent months.
The Wall Street bank will retain its two offices on Bank Street and Cabot Street, which comprise around 800,000 square feet of space, The Sunday Times reported. Morgan Stanley started a search for a smaller office space in October 2020, as banks considered downsizing amid a surge in remote work during the Covid pandemic.
