Morgan Stanley Quilter, the private client investment management firm, has opened an office in Glasgow, the first since Quilter was brought under the Morgan Stanley banner earlier this year.

Morgan Stanley acquired Quilter, the advise-driven fee-based firm, early in the year from majority holder CGNU. The directors and staff, who are minority holders, received a combination of cash and shares as part of the deal.
