Morgan Stanley hires JP Morgan M&A chief

Morgan Stanley has recruited Robert Kindler, global head of mergers and acquisitions at JP Morgan, as vice-chairman of investment banking after the bank declared the "turbulence" in staff defections was over.

In February Douglas Brown, vice chairman in investment banking at Morgan Stanley, left the firm.
