Morgan Stanley loses M&A veteran Lewis

Lazard has hired William Lewis, former head of global mergers and acquisitions at Morgan Stanley, as co-chairman of investment banking to bolster its US M&A advisory capabilities.

Lewis has spent his entire 24-year career at Morgan Stanley where he was also co-head of the firm's banking group.
