Morgan Stanley makes rare senior hire, naming Credit Suisse’s Mazza to leveraged finance

Senior moves among European dealmakers have been rare this year, as the pandemic has forced many to freeze hiring

Morgan Stanley bolstered the senior ranks of its leveraged finance division in Europe, a rare senior hire as investment banks batten down the hatches during the coronavirus crisis.

The US investment bank has named Alessandro Mazza as a managing director in its leveraged and acquisition finance unit. He joins today from Credit Suisse, where he has spent his entire investment banking career, since joining as an associate in 2005.
