Morgan Stanley has re-hired Andres Rubio, a former Japan-based executive director at the firm, from distressed debt specialist Cerberus Capital Management.

Rubio, who returns to Morgan Stanley after two-and-a-half years away, will run the European arm of the bank's principal investments group from its London office, according to a spokesman.
