Morgan Stanley has picked new heads of its European financial institutions and general industrials teams as well as its investment banking business in France. The flurry of appointments were sparked by the elevation six months ago of its head of FIG in Europe to global co-head.

Following William Chalmers' March switch to global co-head of FIG - which he runs with Eric Bischof and John Esposito - Morgan Stanley has brought in a co-head structure at the top of its FIG team in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
