Morgan Stanley is in line to lead its fourth initial public offering of a US exchange as the bank was appointed as an adviser on the demutualisation of the American Stock Exchange.

The American Stock Exchange said the bank is advising on the preparation and execution of a demutualisation plan as well as potential strategic future initiatives.
