Morgan Stanley to open 80 positions in Paris

Morgan Stanley is to expand its operations in Paris after the UK leaves the European Union, adding 80 positions either through new hires or transfers.

The moves, which are part of a "multi-centre strategy", according to a person familiar with the bank, will bring Morgan Stanley's headcount in Paris to about 200. The Wall Street bank has previously said it would transfer some 200 bankers from London to Frankfurt.
