Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Investment Management is hoping to renegotiate the fees it receives from managing assets in the new Swedish premium pension system.

The pension system is administered by Premiepensionsmyndigheten (PPM). Morgan Stanley chose to join PPM despite the low fees as it sees it as an excellent marketing opportunity and a way to get into the market, said Ger de Boer, head of sales for the Nordic region in Amsterdam.
