Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs have been forced to make drastic changes to their highly-coveted summer internships for university students in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Morgan Stanley has become the first major bank to officially make the bulk of its 2020 programme virtual, while Goldman has almost halved the length of its internship to five weeks and pushed back the start date to July.
