One of the City's best-known dealmakers is stepping down from his role as chairman of UK investment banking at Morgan Stanley after five years in the job.

Mark Rawlinson, chairman of UK investment banking at Morgan Stanley, is set to become a senior adviser at the firm and will step down from his full-time role to focus on other non-executive positions. A bank spokesman confirmed the move.
