Frankfurt has emerged as the city of choice for banks picking their new homes in the EU. Hundreds of London-based staff could find themselves relocated there on the basis of plans outlined so far.

That could well become thousands if more big banks follow suit and/or decide to increase headcount in the German city as the post-Brexit financial landscape evolves.
