mPower, provider of online investment advice and education, has appointed Andrew Huddart as the new chief executive to replace Steve Deschenes.

Huddart, who has more than 18 years of public company experience in global financial information and analytics, has worked for both Barra and Reuters in senior executive roles. Deschenes, who resigned to pursue other interests, will work with Huddart for a transition period as a senior adviser.
