Prime Minister Theresa May is reported to have told Conservative MPs that she will step down from her post before the next phase of Brexit negotiations, if her preferred withdrawal agreement is passed.

The news broke as MPs prepare to to vote for their own preferred Brexit option on Wednesday evening.
