Mrs Moneypenny: Hot springs give way to bubbly

Jet-setting around Europe, our correspondent lolls in hot springs in Reykjavik, cools off with champagne in Reims and finds time to muse over the benefits of chartering planes

Reykjavik is not a place that I visit frequently for dinner. Truth is, I have never been there before I went a week or so ago to support an initiative by the Icelandic Stock Exchange. Did you know that there was an Icelandic Stock Exchange? And did you know that British Airways does not fly to Reykjavik?

As far as I can see there is a monopoly on the UK-Iceland route and the result is that a very average business class service costs the GDP of a small African country.
