MSCI, a global equity and fixed income index provider, has finally launched the MSCI Hedge Fund Indices, over a year after it first stated its intention to do so.

In the meantime, Zurich Capital Markets has launched the Zurich Hedge Fund Indices, a family of equal-weighted hedge fund indices and related investable portfolios.
