MTS, the pan-European electronic fixed-income trading platform, has recruited Pedro Schwartz as chairman of MTS Spain, in which it holds a 30% equity stake.

Schwartz is an executive member of the advisory board of DMR, an IT consulting company in Spain, where he also chairs the DMR Consulting Foundation. He is a former economist at the Bank of Spain and was also a member of the Spanish congress.
