Laura Janssens took over as head of European investment banking at Berenberg in June, overseeing a team of around 400 people primarily based at Threadneedle Street in the City.

She joined Berenberg as it was kick-starting a City operation in 2011, after stints leading telecoms research at both Merrill Lynch and UBS.
