Nicola Horlick gained notoriety more that 26 years ago after publicly falling out with her bosses at Morgan Grenfell Asset Management, which at the time was owned by Deutsche Bank.

In 1997 she flew to Frankfurt with a band of 40 journalists in tow to confront senior management after being suspended for reportedly trying to set up a rival firm.
