The Fund Managers' Association (FMA) has asked two leading academics from the London Business School to study the impact of including brokers' commissions in the fees fund managers charge clients.

Rolling up brokers' commissions into an all-inclusive fee was one of the main recommendations of the recent Myners report on institutional investment in the UK. However, the proposal has caused consternation among fund managers and the broking community.
