Paul Myners' report to the UK Treasury on institutional investment has been sent to the printers but there is no indication of whether it will be released before, on or after budget day, which will be March 7.

Senior fund managers were told this week that there was no longer any point contacting Myners' team with last minute thoughts as the definitive report had been sent for printing.
