NAPF and ABI urge investor reticence

The National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF) and the Association of British Insurers (ABI) are preparing to renew their assault on poor UK corporate governance as the company reporting season kicks off.

However, greater efforts will be made to avoid damaging headlines. The NAPF and ABI are advising top shareholders to air their grievances with company directors ahead of any public discussion. They see involvement of the media as a last resort.
