Nasdaq takes aim at London Stock Exchange junior market

Nasdaq's junior stock exchange has joined a select list of growth markets that confer major advantages to UK-based investors putting money into UK-based companies that are on its platform.

Nasdaq First North, a junior market that has, until now, primarily focused on the Nordic region, has been awarded growth market status by the UK's tax, payments and customs authority, the exchange said in a statement on Thursday.
