Nasdaq is increasing its office space on New York's iconic Times Square more than fivefold in a deal that will see the exchange group move its global headquarters.

The company has taken an additional 120,000 square feet at 4 Times Square, where it already bases its MarketSite business. This unit hosts events including the Nasdaq opening and closing bell ceremonies. The building houses the external Nasdaq electronic displays showing market quotes and advertisements.
