National Irish fund appoints Dresdner RCM and Capital International

The €8bn ($7bn) National Pensions Reserve Fund of Ireland has appointed Dresdner RCM and Capital International as global equity managers and ABN Amro Mellon as global custodian.

The appointments form part of a string of new hires by the fund, which was created in October 2001 by Ireland's National Treasury Management Agency to help finance long-term public sector pension commitments.
