The National Stock Exchange has named its chief financial officer and recruited for a strategy role a week after adding two new board members.

Jacob Mulaikal will take on the responsibility of chief operating officer in addition to his current role of chief financial officer. He has been with the exchange since 2000. He was previously group finance officer at Heller Financial, the commercial lender acquired by General Electric in 2001.
